These items give greater texture to the thoughts, motivations, and experiences of Andrew and Charlotte Wade in their quest for a new home in Louisville' s suburbs. This exhibit also suggests the levels of intimidation from large to very small that rained on the Wades in response to their move onto Rone Court in 1954, and the difficulties they endured well after the house was dynamited. The street became so infamous that its name was later changed to Clyde Drive in order not to discourage potential buyers there.
